So I've J-B Welded the keyway and installed my new pulley. Everything is working well so far.
I also got myself a very nice 85 Vanagon GL for $350 . Sweet. Engines blowing black smoke but come on 350?! Bodies way better than my Wolfalia. I'm going to have a nice bus out of the two of them.

While I'm waiting I'm going to replace the rear shocks and cure that vanagon sag!

and my muffler was shot, horrible, dangerous.
So I head down to Pep Boys...
Find out they still sell the "Cherry Bomb" ($23) mufflers. A few adapters, clamps and viola! rumbly much quieter situation with no leaks I got rid of my Cat but I live in Indiana for now. I made sure if I move to an inspection state I can bolt up a cat and a muffler.
Picking up the shocks tomorrow a.m. from NAPA. Hope that goes just as well. I'll post pics later.
