PP Sunset

Nice.

PP end of first night (Tuesday Jan 3rd)

Lights of Paoli...

Up to speed... Thank you!

Back to PP today.  The snow was MUCH nicer than expected (expected slush)!

Wyatt's still getting used to his new skis... I feel like I'm nearly where I ended last season... HOORAH!

Big note of thanks to all those who supported me while I was one armed.

THANK YOU!

Snowboarding again...

Third day on the snow post injury.  Very pleased that I opted for the surgery and happy with the outcome.

Shoulder feels great.  Worth the two months in the sling and all the rehab.

Snow was really nice tonight even with the 60+ degree day.  Was really able to carve it up with the mostly empty slopes.

Heather and Wyatt also had a really great night with all their new equipment.  Her first night on the slopes this season... great start!

NASTAR racing isn't looking to good this season with the unseasonably warm temperatures.

Hope Paoli Peaks is able to stay open through this warm spell.

Thank the great Google...

So my spouse is laughing...

Work folks...

So I wrote an email:
So apparently my scoops ratio (amount of coffee used) is causing some discussion.

Starbucks instructs, ”2 tbsp per 6oz water.”

Tbsp = Tablespoon

There is 64 oz of water in the pitcher.
64/6 = 10.67 servings per 1 pitcher.
10.67 * 2 tbsp = 21.34 tbsp of coffee per 1 pitcher

But Dave there’s no tbsp… there’s a 1/3 of a cup scoop!

16 tbsp = 1 cup so 16/3 = 5.33 tbsp per scoop.
21.34/5.33 = 4.00 scoops

So following instructions 4 scoops of coffee per 1 pitcher of water.

-Dave

BTW- if the above conversions don’t highlight the need to move to the metric system nothing will.
